As a freelance web developer, I strive to deliver reliable, high-quality work. In certain situations, a refund may be appropriate. Please review the terms below to understand how refunds are handled.
Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund under these conditions:
You cancel the project before I begin any work.
A major technical issue arises during development that cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
The final deliverable does not meet the specifications agreed upon at the start of the project.
Refund Procedure
To request a refund, send a written explanation to contact@aakashpradhan.com.
I will review your request, verify eligibility, and notify you of the decision.
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Non-Refundable Fees
Some costs cannot be refunded:
Domain registration and hosting charges.
Third-party service fees paid during the project.
Any work that has already been completed and approved before your request.
Refund Deduction Slabs
75% Refund: Project is in the early design stage but not completed (excluding domain and hosting).
50% Refund: Significant progress made, but the project is not yet halfway complete (excluding domain and hosting).
25% Refund: More than halfway complete but not yet delivered (excluding domain and hosting).
No Refund: The project is completed, delivered, or substantial work has already been handed over.
If the refundable amount is lower than the domain and hosting charges, no refund will be issued.
Scope Changes
Requests for new features or changes beyond the original project scope are treated as separate paid tasks. These additions do not qualify for refunds under this policy.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project by sending written notice.
Any cancellation fee will depend on how much work has already been completed.
Dispute Resolution
If a refund dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith communication.
If no resolution is reached, mediation or arbitration may be used as outlined in our agreement.
All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu and Kashmir.
By working with me, you agree to the terms of this refund policy. For any questions, feel free to reach out at contact@aakashpradhan.com.
